Two performers gathered around a radical conception of musical gesture and sound expressiveness, Plapla Pinky is an electronic duet comprised of noise turntablism and monome controlled Max/MSP. Originally from Toulouse, they are now involved in the Paris and Brussels music and art scenes, composing pieces for brass orchestras and dance companies and have even ventured into producing short movies. They have performed in clubs in Paris, Berlin and Tokyo. Close friends with Jackson And His Computer Band, Plapla Pinky collaborated with Beans (Antipop Consortium) and won the Tokyo Latop Battle at Super Deluxe in Tokyo in 2009. They are currently preparing their first album to be released on the SONORE record label.
